Ingredients:
- 8 Slices Pork Leg Steak
- ½ cup Parsley (chopped)
- 4 Cloves Garlic (diced finely)
- 2 large scoops Bread Crumbs
- 2 large scoops Grated Cheese
- 3 Eggs (beaten)
- 8 Slices Ham
- 8 Slices Cheese (Jarlsberg)
- Salt & Pepper
- Toothpicks
- Plain Flour
- White Wine & Mushroom Sauce
- 2 Large Brown Onions (diced)
- ¾ cup White Wine
- 2 handfuls Sliced Mushrooms
- 300mL Cream
Method:
- Season each slice of Pork with Salt and Pepper.
- Combine Parsley, Garlic, Bread Crumbs, Grated Cheese and Eggs together in a bowl. Mix Well.
- Spread the mixture over each slice of steak.
- Cover each slice of Steak evenly with Ham and then Cheese.
- Roll each Steak and fasten with toothpicks.
- Toss Rolls in flour.
- Fry in Oil until golden brown.
- Remove from heat, strain oil, clean pan, and reheat the same oil.
- Fry chopped onion until transparent and slightly golden, add rolls, add wine and simmer until half evaporated.
- Add chopped mushrooms, stirring occasionally.
- When cooked through add cream.
- Stir until heated through and serve with rice.
