Episode 2 - Bistecca alla Mamma

Ingredients:

  • 6 Scotch Fillet Steaks
  • 500g Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Plain Flour
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vegeta (Stock Powder)
  • 1 Large Onion (Peeled & Diced)
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour

Method:

  1. Coat steak with seasoned flour, add to a hot pan and seal both sides.
  2. Put into a baking dish.
  3. Add onions, mushrooms, stock and cornflour to pan and bring to the boil.
  4. Pour over the steak and cover with foil and put in a preheated moderate oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Take off foil and put oven on high and brown for 5 minutes.
