Port & Galliano Poached Pears

Episode 4 - Port & Galliano Poached Pears

Ingredients:

  • 4 brown pears
  • 2 cups of port
  • ΒΌ cup of Galliano
  • Cinnamon
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Ice Cream (optional)

Method:

  1. Bring port and Galliano to the boil in saucepan. Sprinkle cinnamon.
  2. Add pears and simmer until pears soften & change colour.
  3. Place pears in dessert bowl with a little syrup.
  4. Serve with cream or ice-cream.
