Fried Cauliflower

Episode 16 - Fried Cauliflower


  • 1 Cauliflower
  • 1½ cups of Plain flour
  • ? cups of Grated Cheese (Romano)
  • Parsley/Garlic
  • 1 Egg
  • Milk (as much needed)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Oil to fry


  1. Cut cauliflower into pieces and bring to the boil in salted water.
  2. Boil lightly then drain and cool off.
  3. Batter: Mix flour, egg, grated cheese, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper and a little milk to make a smooth batter. Dip cauliflower into batter then fry in oil and drain on absorbent paper.
