Episode 27 - Quick 'N' Easy Carbonara


  • 1 packet Lean bacon or optional Pancetta
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp chopped Parsley
  • Good handful of parmigiano cheese
  • 1 Onion
  • Mushrooms (6) optional
  • 500g Spaghettini Pasta


  1. In a 6.0 litre casserole bring water to boil and cook pasta until al dente – drain.
  2. In 32cm Bessemer Deep Frypan saute’, chopped onion, bacon or pancetta diced and mushrooms.
  3. In a plate, mix the eggs and add the parmigiano cheese & parsley. Mix well together.
  4. Add pasta to the mixture in the frypan and add egg and cheese mixture tossing pasta with nylon tongs as you pour the mixture.
  5. Serve piping hot.
