Prawn Cocktail

Episode 36 - Prawn Cocktail


  • ½ kg Cooked Prawns, tails intact
  • 1 Iceberg Lettuce, finely shredded or mixed salad leaves
  • 2 ripe Avocadoes
  • 1 cup full fat Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • Dash of Worchester Sauce
  • Pinch of Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Bread (Wholemeal/Brown) to serve
  • Lemons to serve (optional)
  • Usually cocktail glasses to serve


  1. Mix the Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Worchester Sauce, Salt & Pepper together.
  2. Cut the Avocado into slices.
  3. Place the Lettuce into a serving glass or prepare on a plate.
  4. Place the Prawns and Avocado slices neatly and add sauce carefully on top and sprinkle with a little Paprika.
  5. Serve with Lemon wedges and cut bread.
