- 4 Brown Onions
- Normal Rice Flour (or roasted rice flour)
- ½ spoon of Turmeric Powder
- A pinch of salt
- Water (for mixing)
- 2 cups Canola Oil
- Peel the onions and slice evenly. Place in a large bowl.
- Mix the rice flour in with the onions.
- Pour in water, turmeric & salt and stir thoroughly to make a firm batter.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer.
- When the oil is hot enough, drop spoonfuls of the mixture in.
- When they are nice & crispy, remove and place onto absorbent paper.
